Bupa Acıbadem Sigorta, both adapted Oracle Support calendar and transitioned
to a better insurance system database by migrating to database version 18C.
The project:
- Insurance system database version being 11G and update requirement.
- According to the support schedule published by Oracle, there will be no support for 11G by the end of 2020.
- Upgrades in test environments will be approved by the software and business teams before applying in all systems.
Achievements:
- Upgrading to a database version is made in accordance with the Oracle support schedule and within the scope of long-term support.
- With many innovations brought by 18C, the technical infrastructure became suitable for the projects needed in the corporation.
- Smooth uptading the system by completing the preparations with a sprecific and detailed planning.
